Course overview
Firms, universities, and other organizations have are increasingly using private regulatory mechanism to enforce compliance with labor standards and human rights in their supply chains, through codes of conduct, monitoring, collaboration, and putting in place systems of private governance. We will assess the degree to which those efforts have been successful and examine the politics driving these developments.
