How can I ask my manager to approve a Deep Dive
Almost everyone who takes our deep dives are working full time. Many get reimbursed by their company, government agency or organization. Below is a template you can use to request reimbursement approval.

[Instructor Name] from [Institution where Instructor Works] has an upcoming [CPD certified] course on Policyware called [Deep Dive name]. [CPD Certifications signifies that this deep dive complies with universally accepted principles of Continual Professional Development (CPD) and that the content and structure have been independently assessed and approved for multi-disciplinary and industry-wide continuing personal and professional development purposes.] I’d like to attend with your approval to get the expense reimbursed.
Policyware is an online platform that provides online course on public policy topics taught by experts from some of the world's top universities and Think Tanks, such as Yale University, the University of California, Berkeley and the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. Each Deep Dive is a mix of pre-recorded lectures and live interactive sessions taught by the expert. This Deep Dive will also allow me to meet public policy professionals from across the world, including from other governments, industry and civil society. Previous participants in Policyware Deep Dives come from foreign affairs and international trade departments, aid and development agencies including the World Bank and from industry and civil society. Each deep dive teaches the key content and latest developments, as well as analyzing who are the key actors driving public policy outcomes. In this deep dive I’ll learn [insert learning outcomes from registration page]. The deep dive is made up of approximately 4 hours of video and 3 hours of live lectures. The deep dive is also designed so that I don't need to take time off from work. The cost of the Deep Dive is [Insert Cost].
I'll receive a certificate upon completion and can provide a report of my key takeaways and recommendations to share with the rest of the team.
